Professional Cook Apprenticeship

The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas Professional Cook Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts to elevate their skills in a nurturing environment dedicated to learning and growth.

Become a Professional Cook Apprentice

The Professional Cook Apprenticeship program is for individuals who want to enhance their culinary skills working alongside and learning from experienced chefs in the Las Vegas hospitality industry.

This is a paid, one-year (2,000 hour) internship that combines on-the-job learning with classroom instruction.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • Graduate/anticipated graduate of the CALV Professional Cook program
  • Graduate of a trade school or other structured training program focusing on culinary arts
  • Two-years of work experience in a culinary job
